This week's guest is Kenneth Doka, PhD, one of the world's leading experts on death, dying and bereavement. Ken is a professor emeritus at the Graduate School of The College of New Rochelle, and senior consultant to the Hospice Foundation of America. He is an award-winning scholar and respected counselor known worldwide for his research.

The Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC) presented him with an award for Outstanding Contributions in the Field of Death Education in 1998, Significant Contributions to the Field of Thanatology in 2014 and Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019. He has also received an award for Outstanding Contributions to Thanatology and Hospice,  and the ADEC Lifetime Achievement Award.
